About Me

Hi, I'm Omotara.

I'm Nigerian, based in London, and I'm a creative technologist. I come up with ideas to solve problems, and then I very quickly build them out.

My priority is making things better for people. As a jack of all trades, I lean on a broad range of techniques to achieve that. My outputs are quite varied:

– I write. I blog weekly here, occasionally share my opinions on the world on Substack, and I review music.

– I code. My approach sits somewhere between product engineering and game development. I once built a game about the ethics of decision-making algorithms, and I'm currently working on a project, Dyad, to solve a problem for me and my housemate.

– I speak about my opinions and things I learn – in English, Spanish, and increasingly Yoruba and Portuguese.
